Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet Metal Fabrication Services

Sheet metal fabrication involves cutting, bending and shaping the metal to create a specific shape product that meets the desired specifications. Sheet metal fabrication can be used to create a wide range of products. From simple brackets and enclosures to more complex products like car parts and aircraft components, sheet metal fabrication can be used to create many different products in various industries.

The materials used in sheet metal fabrication can vary depending on the application and the desired properties of the finished product. Common materials used in sheet metal fabrication include stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and carbon steel. Each material has its own unique properties that make it suitable for specific applications.

The process of sheet metal fabrication involves several steps, including design, cutting, bending, welding, and finishing. The design phase involves creating a blueprint or drawing of the product, which is then used to guide the cutting and shaping of the metal. Cutting is typically done using computer-controlled machines like laser cutters or water jets, which ensure precise cuts every time. Bending is done using press brakes or rollers to create the desired shape, and welding is used to join multiple pieces of metal together. The finishing phase involves polishing, painting, or coating the metal to protect it from corrosion and improve its appearance.

The process of sheet metal fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication is a manufacturing process that involves shaping or cutting sheet metal material into pre-designed shapes or forms. The process is commonly used to produce a variety of metal products, including auto parts, computer parts, home appliances, and more. The sheet metal fabrication process can be divided into several steps.

1, Cut sheet metal into desired shapes using a variety of metal cutting tools such as shears, plasma cutters and laser cutters. This step is critical to ensuring that the final product meets the required specifications.

2, Form the cut sheet metal into the desired shape using various metal forming techniques such as bending, rolling and stamping. This step requires skill and precision, as any error in the molding process could render the product unfit for use.

3, Join formed metal sheets using various welding or fastening techniques. These techniques can include spot welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, etc.

4, The finished product is cleaned and polished to remove any imperfections and ensure it meets the required surface finish specifications.

Overall, the sheet metal fabrication process is a complex and intricate process that requires skilled professionals and specialized tools and equipment. However, when done correctly, it can produce high-quality metal products that are both durable and functional.

SECC steel smooth (smooth) cooling

SECC is made of cold-rolled steel coils, which are degreased, pickled, electroplated and post-treated on a continuous continuous production line. It is a competitive and substitute product in the electronics, home appliances, and furniture markets. For example, SECC is commonly used in computer cases.

SPCC steel plate cooling system

SPCC is a steel ingot that is continuously rolled into a coil or plate of required thickness by a cold rolling mill. The surface of SPCC is not protected, and it is easily oxidized in the air, especially in a humid environment, the oxidation speed is accelerated, and dark red rust appears. The surface should be painted, electroplated or otherwise protected during use.

SGCC Steel (Hot Dip) Clear Cold Commercial

Hot-reduced steel coil is a semi-finished product after hot pickling or cold rolling, cleaning, quenching, immersion in a methanol-zinc bath with a temperature of about 460°C to coat the steel with zinc, and then tempering, leveling and chemical treatment. SECC material is harder, avoids ductility defects (deep drawn design), has a thicker zinc layer, and has weldability defects.

Stainless steel SUS304

One of the most widely used stainless steels, containing Ni (nickel), has richer corrosion resistance and heat resistance than steel containing Cr (chromium), has very good mechanical properties, has no heat treatment phenomenon, and has no elasticity.

Stainless steel SUS301

The Cr (chromium) content is lower than that of SUS304, and it is resistant to discoloration, but it can obtain good tensile strength and hardness after cold working in the stamping process, and has good elasticity. It is mostly used for spring springs and anti-EMI.

Aluminum is often given a chromate or oxide finish. Main support or connection role, widely evaluated in various plug-in boxes.
