Animal 3D Printing Model
The project aims to demonstrate the application of modern digital manufacturing technology in artistic creation by designing and making a 3D printed model of a horse.
The project required understanding the horse’s structure and characteristics from multiple perspectives in order to be able to model it accurately. The fabrication process includes designing the model using 3D modeling software, selecting appropriate materials and colors for printing, and performing post-processing such as removing support structures and polishing the surface of the object. The final 3D printed model of the horse can be used for display and collection, and can also be given as a gift to horse lovers and collectors. In addition, the project can also be extended to the design and production of other animals and objects to meet the needs of different groups of people.
Printing materials
The project was printed with white photoresin, a resin that hardens when exposed to ultraviolet light, requiring the use of liquid materials and light curing equipment. After printing, it can get high-precision, high-strength and high-transparency printed models.
Project budget
Budgets vary depending on the size and complexity of the model, averaging $200-500 per model.
Project time
The length of the project depends on the number and complexity of the models, generally takes 8 days.
Project Challenges
The challenge of the white photosensitive resin 3D printing model project is that it requires a certain level of technology and experience to operate successfully.
- Color accuracy
- Structural design
- Production method
- Cost pressure
Solution & Results
White photosensitive resin 3D printing model is a printing material that can print complex models with rich details with high precision. Its solution consists of the following steps:
- The surface of the model is rough or cracked
- The model appears empty or incomplete
- The details and precision of the model are not high enough
